Calculadora de Patio con Adoquines — m to pavers, sand, gravel, cost
Como usar esta calculadora
Enter patio area in meters or centimeters (rectangle, circle, L-shape, or custom area). Choose paver size and laying pattern. Get pavers, gravel, sand, edge restraint, and polymeric sand quantities.
Base layers — 10-15 cm compacted gravel, 2.5 cm sand bedding per DIN 18318.
Patterns — running bond, herringbone (+10%), basket weave, stack bond.
Edge restraint — concrete or plastic edging along the perimeter.

How to Calculate Pavers for a Patio (Metric)
Esta calculadora estima pavers, gravel base, sand, edge restraint, and polymeric sand for patio projects in metric units. Choose from standard European paver sizes (100×200 mm brick, 150×150, 150×225, 300×300, 400×400 mm) and patterns per EN 1338.
Formulas
Pavers = area / paver face area × (1 + waste% + pattern%). Gravel (tonnes) = area × depth (m) × 1.6 t/m³. Sand (tonnes) = area × depth (m) × 1.5 t/m³. Polymeric sand: ~1 bag (25 kg) per 4 m² for 3-5 mm joints. Edge restraint = perimeter in meters.
Base Preparation (DIN 18318)
Per DIN 18318: 10-15 cm compacted aggregate base for pedestrian patios, 15-20 cm for driveways. 2.5-4 cm bedding sand, screeded level. Compact base in 5 cm lifts to 98% Proctor density. Use 0/32 mm crushed aggregate for base, 0/5 mm grit for bedding.
Preguntas frecuentes
Which pattern wastes most? Herringbone adds ~10% waste; running bond and basket weave ~5%; stack bond is minimal. Concrete vs plastic edging? Concrete edge haunches are more durable; plastic edging is faster to install.
